Large Airports That Can Use A People Mover

Sun Jul 09, 2006 3:59 am

What large airports do you think can use an automated people mover, or needs its people mover expanded?

I personally think SLC should get an automated people mover between Concourses A, B, C, and D.

LAX desperately needs one. So does MIA. At least the one at IAD is being built.

I have to correct myself. In MIA there is a people mover within one of the concourses.

Hi,

Sorry, but, what do you mean by a "people mover"?, is that a moving walkway?, if so there are a few Spanish Airports that spring to mind; ie: PMI and BCN, to name but two.

It seems that whoever designs Spanish Airports is a member of A-Net, the longer spent in the airport; the better chance of spotting something unusual, the better.

Certainly its normally a long walk from the gate to the terminal, not that I am complaing!!.

MSP has this I believe, some sort of automated train. While our school went through MSP on our way to Honolulu, we all wanted to ride the train.  Smile
