Most Fun Airline

What do you think is the most fun airline to travel on? For me it was Song before Delta took over. Now it is probably B6.

For me it has to be Virgin Atlantic. Last flight was back in 2002 though. Great and fun airline!

Well I reckon the most entertaining airlines are Kulula (South Africa) Southwest apparently Virgin Blue is supposed to be fun however with my only flight with them they seamed very serious just like Qantas (The only dropped the terrible Brisvegas  banghead  alias for my city once).

*Of the airlines mentioned I have only flown Virgin Blue and Qantas)

From my experience KLM have given me the most fun in terms of enjoyment. Their attendants have always been polite and happy to have a chat when I have flown them, plus I've always had good legroom and whole rows to myself on long haul flights which increases my enjoyment of the flight dramatically!

In terms of the actual flying then its a close tie between Iberia and Air Southwest. IB really know how to fly their Mad Dogs to the edge which is great, but bouncing through the cloudes on the latter in a Dash 8 can be great fun too..not to mention to rough landings we get down here during the winter biggrin

From what I hear, there is no rival to the fun-value of Kulula!

It use to be Hooters Air. The Hooters girls (who are in addition to normal flight attendants) are there for fun. They play games like bingo and other things with the passengers and give out prizes on board.

How about WM (WinAir)?

All their destinations are fantastic and their planes are a ton of fun to fly.

Before DL took over? DL created Song and Song was just harnessed back in to the mainline route system.

My own experiences say F9 - it's a whole different animal.

Hooters Air.. ATL-Myrtle Beach.

I did it just to check it out on vacation. I have a relative in Myrtle Beach so it worked out fine.

The experience was umm huge.. haha. It was certainly different.

After watching the T.V show Airline USA i have to say Southwest. Its like having a party 30000ft in the air from what i have seen along with bad customer service on the ground.

Virgin Blue all the way! They have creat customer service both in the air and on the ground. I always end up laughing at all the crew's bad jokes. The captain even let me sit at the controls for a while (although we were on the ground and the thing was shut down).
