What Is The A.Net Name For The 748?

There have been discussions about newspapers using the name "superjumbo" for the 380, and the 748. I would call it the generic name for the VLA group.
We had quite a go around to decide on Whalejet for the A380, so what is the "slang" name for the B748 ? I don't have a good idea to submit,and need the creative minds of A.net to help "give it a go".  chat 
I thought about using "3B" for Boeing Big Boy, (short to type), but should it also be an animal ?
Its big and old : so would Mastodon work ? Because it's now extinct maybe that's not a good omen for the future.  confused 
This will give the A-bus fans a chance to even out the Whalejet dust-up.  box

Where I worked, most people referred to the 747 as a "lump", for obvious reasons. I would guess the new version of the 747 would continue that tradition, should UA decide to buy it. The 737 was called a "guppy".

I don't think A.net has come up with an appropriate nickname as of yet.  Wink

The 747 has always been known as the jumbo jet. I will refer to the 748 as a jumbo jet as well.

Interesting to note that in the U.K(Scotland) that the 747's were also called 'lumps',but the 737's were called 'piggies'!!Can't remember why tho'!
