When Will The 767 Production End?

Tue Aug 01, 2006 10:47 am

After realizing that both the 767-200ER and -300ER have been in production for over 20 years I was wondering when Boeing would end the 767 program. Although it has held up to be an outstanding aircraft it seems that with the new technology of the rising 787 the 20 year old logistics of the 767 would be inferior to modern day aviation.

Any estimates on when Boeing will stop producing the 767?

Im ball-parking between 2007 and 2008, maybe the day the 787 rolls out.

I think Boeing should have offered a Avionics upgrade after the roll out of the 767-400 for all 767's produced after that one.

I'd have to agree with AC320tech since the 757 has ended production already. Also, Boeing will need the space for all the 787 orders they have procured.
