RTW With The New OneWorld

Sun Nov 05, 2006 10:12 pm

I am planning to buy a RTWticket with OneWorld, departing in August '07. By that time JL will have joined.

On a number of my routes I have a choice of airlines and aircraft which are set out below. Im looking for any reccomendations of one over the other.

DUB-NRT BA 744 (via LHR), JL 773 (via LHR), AY 343 (via HEL)

KIX-HKG CX 777, CX 744, JL 767

BKK-SIN CX 744, AY MD11

SYD-CHC QF 763, JQ 320

SCL-EZE LA 320, LA 763, LA 343

GIG-DUB BA 744 (via LHR), IB 343 (via MAD)

Thanks in advance

Sorry, all in Economy. Would consider upgrading to Economy Plus if you thought it worthwhile?

I say take AY through HEL. It's a bit more direct and probably quicker since you bypass highly congested LHR.

Since you're traveling in Cattle class:

AY 343
CX 777
CX 744
QF 763
LA 343
IB 343

That's what I'd do

Thats what I was thinking (maybe with the exception of LHR-NRT which I was considering BA). But I am a BA ExecClub member so should try as many BA flights as possible, though I know some of those mentioned have BA numbers on them. Thanks for the advice
