OneWorld RTW

Tue Dec 19, 2006 11:09 pm

I am planning to take a RTW trip with OneWorld in June 2007 and have 2 queries. Im planning to fly HKG-Phnom Penh with Dragonair, when will they be available to book? Will Dragonair be part of OneWorld tickets then? What is their service like?

Also, I want to fly BKK-SIN with AY. What is the service like on this route? IFE on the MD11? Meals etc?

Apparently Dragonair are joining on January 1... though don't quote me on that...

You might want to hold off on booking your ticket until the new year, and check then...

They do on have IFE on the MD11... meal is served on that sector.

Which class are you flying in? J?

I hope you're not a Frequent Flyer with EI as they leave oneworld on April 1. I did around the world in J on oneworld this year, all the airlines are awesome in J, especially CX, BA and QF.
I do enjoy a spot of flying, especially when it's not in economy!

AY offers VERY attractive deals in biz class BKK-SIN and BKK-HKG, I flew BKK-HKG in C class for 260 euros return in Nov. Very nice.

I checked random dates for June:
BKK-SIN-BKK 11th - 18th June
C-class: 12970BH/277Euros (their website price)

Their modern European Airbus/Embraer -product is no doubt better than their long hauls but there sure is something with MD11.. a powerful bird!
