First Class To Japan

Wed Dec 27, 2006 4:40 am

As a birthday treat I am going to Japan in March First class from London.
Question is which airline should I use?
Can someone recommend backed up by experience pls?
Thanks

Have done JFK-NRT and LAX-KIX in JAL First Class (AAdvantage Awards). Incredible experience on both flights.

BA and NH also have their die-hard fans.

I don't think you'd be disappointed in any of them.

I really enjoyed NH's New Style First Class, which is available LHR-NRT. The only disappointment was the NH F Lounge in NRT, as it was small (but had nice amenities). However, I believe all the Star Alliance members now share a new F lounge. Otherwise, you can always load up on goodies at the NH F Lounge then use the UA F Lounge to spread out.  Smile

I'd go with NH over JAL but it also depends on aircraft preference (747 vs. 777), FF program (Star vs. OW) etc. JAL is joining OW next year, maybe by March if that helps too.
