If You Were A Plane?

Wed Jan 03, 2007 5:54 am

I know this is a strange thread, but... if you were a plane, what would you be?

I for one would say that I am a 757. I'm a narrow body, good CASM, long, very versatile, effecient, got a pretty good set of gear, etc.

What plane are you?

i have to say the 767, a great plane, can fly short routes and long routes. sometimes there will be a bussiness class. all in all it is a GREAT plane.

i bet 0$ a person 3-5 posts under me will say the a330 or the 747.  scratchchin

I'd be the Hughes H-4, aka the "Spruce Goose". I'm lazy, fat and barely fly.

A DC10... just slightly short & stubby-looking (especially in comparison to my bigger and younger brother the MD11 -- true for me in real life too, my "little" brother is a much larger man than me), a rather angry face, long-ranged (but often used on shorthauls), had a few rough spots in its early years, etc....  smile

Not anymore.

A340-600
"Tallest" plane in the world, and (reletively) skinny/narrow. Powerful and can go long distance.

Sounds like a model athlete.

I would like to be a Boeing or Airbus aircraft. But my size and style says something else.. Heh.
The best shot would be a Dash 8-Q400.
Not that big, fast climber and not as fast as jets, but almost. Big grin

Regards.

747-400

Long, good frame, big engines and alot of power. Versatile, popular
and classically good-lookin', lol!

Probably the 737NG - American, relatively young, good dispatch reliability (punctual), low CASM (good with money), technologically advanced (smart), but otherwise nothing special. If I had to be specific, I'd say the 737-900 because I'm over six feet tall.

Airbus A320. A mixture of European backgrounds. Generally liked by all around the world as a reliable friend. Slightly wide aisles. Known to make a couple of odd noises, but it's perfectly normal.

I'd be a 757-300, becuase that's how I'm built physically. Rather tall at 6'4", but still on the skinny side.

I´d be an Antonov An-2, works endlessly and without complaining, and has low demands on maintenance.
How can anyone not fly, when we live at a time when we can fly?

Same here, either that or a DC-8 Stretch
