Some Questions About Air Canada

Tue Jan 30, 2007 9:47 am

I'm planning on giving myself a birthday present and flying to YVR from PHL for a weekend. I want to do their executive class for one of the directions. my questions are:

1.) If I fly executive class from YVR, will I be able to use the lounge in both YVR and YYZ, even though my flight to PHL will be on jazz which has no Executive class?

2.)also I am trying to figure out which plane to take, which plane has the best Executive class set up, it looks like the options are, A330, 767, A320, or A321.

Thanks in advance

P.S. if anyone has any other creative routings, im open to suggestions, I'm pondering using Philipenes airlines to do YVR-LAS, then LAS-PHL, but their first class does not look that special, correct me if im wrong.

Hey,
I'm almost pretty sure you will be allowed in despite being a jazz flight, as long as your paying the executive fare. As for the A/C I would go with the 767's, nothing like a nice big Boeing. I would stick whit the routing you choose, you can come to YYZ and see the new part to T1 and won't have to fly to T2 and go to T1.

Hope this helps

If I was flying th YYZ-YVR route in Executive class, I would take the A333 as it assures you of a proper international first class seat. While the 767-300's are awesome, you play a bit of a roulette option with them as you could get anything ranging from a brand-new Executive class cabin with lie-flat seats to a domestically configured aircraft with 6-abreast seating. You could also end up with the outdated Executive cabins as well. I would avoid the narrowbodies at all cost though.

although not really close to PHL, but then not really too far either, how about CX JFK-YVR?

I heard there are good fares for the 5th freedom YVR-JFK-YVR sectors...
