Airlines At Airports

Sun Feb 04, 2007 3:22 pm

What airport in the world has the most number of seperate airlines operating out of it?

LHR
LAX
JFK
AMS

Those are pure guesses, but Im sure some of you would know.
As long as the number of take-offs equals the number of landings...you're doing fine.

I think DFW would be right up at the top.

I'm pretty sure JFK or LHR win that one.

LHR, with about 82 airlines (not counting cargo either).

I'm pretty sure it is CDG, with roughly 130 airlines!

You're right. I stand corrected, although CDG has about 90 airlines (not counting cargo).

I thought FRA was quite up there, with well over 100+ (gotta be close to 150) airlines serving it.

Thats a lot of airlines  cheerful

CDG has between 140 and 150 different airlines... (with both passengers and cargo airlines)

DFW lists 23 airlines on its web page, not counting cargo. It's a busy airport but mostly AA. I'm headed to FRA today. That's where I can do some spotting!

Sure is! I'm sure LH doesn't have much of a problem, though..
