Just took this flight tuesday in F and have taken it 10+ times before in Y. As any CO FF
can tell you the 735's they fly on this route are not their best plane, but no worse than what other airlines are offering on this route... being that nobody else flies DCA
Also there are two flights a day on this route with an ERJ (12:59 and 21:00), in which case, get the side with the one seat!
Morning flights are a coffee and beverage service in Y, full drinks and a 2-pak of Biscoff cookies in F. The rest of the day it's nuts in F, pretzels in Y. Often there is no bev/pretzel service the rest of the day in Y due to the short flying time, turbulence, whatever the FA
's can think of. Other times there is a full bef svc. Just depends I think.
Flying time can be as little as 30 mins; depending of the time of day it can take just as long to taxi to the runway and back.
Finally you will be arriving and departing from Terminal A at EWR
, not terminal C, so if someone is picking you up plan accordingly. The terminal is not as nice as C, but on the other hand it is far nicer than it used to be.
