Since I moved the thread to the proper forum, the least I could do is respond:
I flew US Transcon several times last year, both on HP
and US metal. Once in a 321, once in a 757. Also flew ANC
, block times equal to a trans-con flight.
Meals were identical. Service was much better on HP
metal with HP
You will likely be disappointed. I certainly was. Other than decent cups of coffee, and free booze, the meal - if that's what you wanna call it - was very, very underwhelming. In plain, non-vulcan english - it sucked.
Was bowtie pasta with some sorry excuse of a red sauce (more like ketchup than a sauce). Pretty crappy all the way around. And it was served on 3 of the 4 segments I took.
Mimosa's you'll probably get. And any other kinda of booze or softdrink.
Bring something on board to snack on AFTER your dinner meal. You'll need it.
