CX Or EY To Australia?

Wed Feb 07, 2007 4:07 am

I am looking to booking flights to MEL in July in business class. I normally fly with EK because of lower fares and easy connections from GLA. I am looking into flying a different airline this time, due to, in my opinion, EK's slipping standards. I am thinking of either EY or CX. I know EY have flat beds but only fly to SYD. Are they worth it, even though i would have to fly to LHR and SYD? My other option is CX, who I have heard great things about, and they fly direct to MEL. So who is it worth choosing?

Also, what are these airlines IFE, catering, service etc... like?

A320, A321, A332, A343, A345, 727, 733, 734, 738, 744, 752, 763ER, 772, 773, 77W, RJ100, ERJ145, Q400, Do328

They are both great carriers with good business class.

I would choose the one I havn't flown (which happens to be EY), but if this is not the case, take the cheaper one as they are hard to choose from. Have you been to HKG and the CX lounge, it's great.

P.S I would gladly go through LHR and SYD with EY.
