Im not sure wether this has been discussed, but i was wondering, after having read so in some trip reports, if most of you guys own noise cancelling headphones... and if so which? Also , which do you think are the best?

I don't own them butI assume Sennheiser.

Btw, with Austrian in Business Class you get noise cancelling headphones. If not mistaken those in the new Lufthansa Business class as well.

I own the Sennhieser PXC 300 which sell for about $150 as opposed to the $300 Bose headphones. I can definitely say that the PXC 300 is an excellent headphone that works well in an airplane or other areas where you are trying to block consistent noise. I sometimes use it on the bus and it does fairly well. The PXC 300 is better than most of the headphones out there however think of getting the passive noise reduction headphones. Best ones will set you back about $400 dollars.

I use a Creative headset from Singapore. It is very cheap if you compare it and it does its job quite well

Thanks for the feedback, but im afraid your responses came a little too late, as i have allready ordered myself some new Bose QC3's to use on my next flight thinking i wasnt going to get any replies anyway... Thanks for you feedback nevertheless, and i hope ive made a fairly decent choice...
