Where Can I Purchase An Old J Class Seat?

Fri Feb 09, 2007 11:54 pm

I have just moved to a bigger house and want to decorate the movie's room as a plane cabin. Where can I find and buy a or two used J class seat?

Flying an aeroplane with only a single propeller to keep you in the air. Can you imagine that? -Capt. Picard

I can't believe how much they want for that stuff now. I can't imagine airplane seats being that valuable. There has got to be a bunch of them that just go into the trash/scrap yard. The key is just being around when they scrap out a plane. I think it is just about knowing the right people to get a good deal. Back in the late 1980s there was a place in Denver called "Factory Surplus" they had seats complete with the earphone jacks for $125. You could get a row of three for that. The owner was a friend of my dads and he said he would give me a set. But I was in Jr high at the time and my parents wouldn't let me have something that was that big. I had enough junk already at according to my dad.
