Ah, AS is a wonderful airline, I dont know if your in F or Y but assuming your in Y, you can purchase a Dig-e-Player for $10, it has movies, tv shows, music videos, destination info. they do run out if your in back so you can reserve one by going to this website... http://www.alaskaair.com/as/www2/Flights/digEplayer.asp this also shows you what movies and so on are playing. http://www.alaskaair.com/as/www2/help/faqs/MealService.asp this website shows what type of food you will be given, if your uin Y you can buy a meal for $5, and they are actually edible. you will get free beverage service and a snack mix. The F/A's are wonderful and i would strongly encourage you get an exit row seat!!!

have a great flight

I flew AS numerous times on their OAK-PDX route and found them generally on time, despite their on-time ranking. Their FAs and terminal staff were always helpful and pleasant.

Alot of people out there have some anti-Alaska sentiment, but I have flown them MANY times throughout the Southeast (Seattle-Sitka/Juneau/Ketchikan etc.) on 734's and ive had nothing but great experiences with them.

Service is excellent (definitely better than any continental US carrier) and ive found them pretty much on time.

I think you'll be happy you choose AS over AA or UA on the ORD-SEA run!

Alaska is a fantastic airline. I fly them almost exclusively between PDX and the bay area, and hope to fly them PDX-MCO in January of '08. Great airline, and great staff. You'll have a fantastic trip!
Next Flights: 12/31 AS804 PDX-MCO 2/3 AS19 MCO-SEA QX2545 SEA-PDX

I flew SEA to LAX last year on AS and had a wonderful experience. The cabin crew were professional and service was always with a smile.

You will have no problems with them. Enjoy your flight!

In my experience, they're okay. I prefer Continental. but Alaska is okay. Granted, the last time I flew on them, they actually still served food for free. Those days are gone.
No free IFE either. Bummer.
But, their crews are at least average.
Their ground staff here in ANC is another matter. And let's not talk about their pilots.... whew... deep breaths...

Have a good trip, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Am gonna fly them from ANC-SEA-LAS in Jun...1st time flying with a domestic american carrier of over an hours flights.Flew with Southwest and America West on the LAS-LAS flights both flights were very short but Southwest was way way better than America West. The FAs were friendly and served drinks. On America West....i didnt even see an FA at all throughout the whole flight.Didnt leave me with a good impression with the airline.
Though the flights that i will be taking will be average in length about 3 hours...there will be a drink service and food to be bought. What a difference...here in Asia we serve a full meal sometimes with ice cream and its all complimentary..and at the same price that i am paying to.Oh well...i just hope i get from ANC to LAS safely and without any problems or any FAs yelling at me.

YVR-LAX in F. Great seat, absolutely brilliant F/As and ground staff... only gripe was no food on a 2.5 hour sector. That said, they made up for it - our drinks were never empty. Would fly them again in a heartbeat! Check out the special embroidery on the dividers at the front of the cabin. Very cool!
I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!

What makes for an interesting question, for which the answer is totally subjective, is...

Is Alaska Airlines that good, or are the others (to whom Alaska is compared) that bad?
