Same Major Carrier Aircraft Flown In A Row Of ...?

Sat Apr 28, 2007 4:54 am

I had three flights in a row with Austrian Airlines and all flights where with the same plane, OE-LDE.

Austrian VIE KBP Airbus 319-112 OE-LDE OS661 06APR07
Austrian KBP VIE Airbus 319-112 OE-LDE OS662 09APR07
Austrian VIE ZRH Airbus 319-112 OE-LDE OS565 09APR07

Anyone else? If yes, what carrier/plane!?

The most was when I came back from Longyearbyen in Svalbard with SAS Braathens, a total of 4 flights all on the same aircraft even though they were all separate flights! Took off at about 5am, I think, got to Oslo at about 2pm.

10.08.2006 Longyearbyen – Tromso LYR-TOS SAS Braathens Boeing B737-500 LN-BRV
10.08.2006 Tromso – Bodo TOS-BOO SAS Braathens Boeing B737-500 LN-BRV
10.08.2006 Bodo – Trondheim BOO-TRD SAS Braathens Boeing B737-500 LN-BRV
10.08.2006 Trondheim – Oslo TRD-OSL SAS Braathens Boeing B737-500 LN-BRV

Also have done the same thing on the local carrier Air Southwest a few times, the most being below - continuously getting the same aircraft!

24.05.2006 Manchester – Bristol MAN-BRS Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE
24.05.2006 Bristol – Plymouth BRS-PLH Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE
??.05.2006 Manchester – Bristol MAN-BRS Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE
??.05.2006 Bristol – Plymouth BRS-PLH Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE
??.05.2006 Plymouth – Bristol PLH-BRS Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE
??.05.2006 Bristol – Manchester BRS-MAN Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE
06.06.2006 Plymouth – Bristol PLH-BRS Air Southwest De Havilland Dash 8-311 G-WOWE

There have also been many times that I get off one late-running flight, dash back through immigration only to find I'm getting straight back onto the same aircraft.

There was a time I took eight AA MD-80 flights in a row. Granted they were all non-stops and not part of the same trip. I've also had streak of six or so WN 737 flights.
There's nothing quite like a trijet.

I haven't been to Greece in a while, but since the last time I went, my last few flights have been as follows.

First, I flew EWR-LHR with VS, but then, I did...

LCY-GVA, LX RJ100
GVA-ATH, LX RJ100
ATH-ZRH, LX A320
ZRH-JFK, LX A330
JFK-GVA, LX A330
GVA-JFK, LX A330.

And later this summer I'll do JFK-GVA-JFK on LX again.
