ill be flying from TIJ for the first time in about 10 years to GDL, Jun 15, and i heard the most ridiculous thing ever from one of the phone representatives at Avolar; that if we did not arrive 2 hrs before the flight we would not be given our boarding pass. Told them we bought the tickets three months ago, and everything is set, but i cant get any more info from the trained morons working the phone or from the corporate office or customer service department. Is this true? Do i have to be at a flight from TIJ 2 hrs in advance for Avolar or be denied boarding? i have never heard this from any other airlines ever. I have to drive from San Bernardino to TIJ and traffic is horrible so i guess if im 1hr 59 min ahead of the flight im denied service. Ill never fly AVOLAR again if this is true.
Appreciate any ideas about what they mean.
