The Singapore F flights will be a absolute joy, I haven't flown first class with them, but I'm sure their First class is better then business class, and I enjoyed their business class very much.
I, personally, can't say the same for Delta, I had 5 flights with them recently in First class, among other things one of the let downs was the uncomfortable seats that didn't have headrests or PILLOWS, which isn't acceptable for first class you need one or the other, or both. over all on Delta my family wasn't impressed and we don't plan to fly them any time soon. but thats just the shorter of your fligths, your SQ
flights will be amazing, im sure.
you should have no trouble getting into the Silver kris First Class Lounge in SFO
, it is airside so that is good!
on the 764 do what you can to get 7E
. Those are the pilot rest seats and have tons of legroom and if you find the little switch in the back of the area where the tray folds up into you can recline to almost 180 degrees. Try to get 7F
has an entertainment box under the seat in front.
there are a lot of different Crown Room clubs for DL
, and I once asked DeltaGator which was the best and this is what he told me:
Here's my beakdown of the CRCs in ATL from best to worst.
1A - T7 (quiet and least used due to small number of gates in T)
1B - A Centerpoint (Big club, Bose listening area, sadly not open on weekends)
1C - C26 (Newest club still has that new club smell)
2 -E concourse (was just in last night, not overly crowded but close to full)
3 - A17 (Always crowded especially on weekends but nice, CocaCola Listening Room)
4 - B25 (Crowded on weekends and showing its age but ok overall)
5 - B10 (absolutely worst club in ATL. Small and overcrowded. Finally added exit door last year to ease congestion.)
Best Airline USA-costa Rica Biz Class? (by Alaskaqantas Nov 20 2006 in Aviation Polls & Prefs)
here is a map of the terminal: http://www.delta.com/traveling_check...airport_maps/atlanta_atl/index.jsp
i went to the T7
one, which is sorta out of the way, and it was kind of run down. So I went to the E concourse to have a shower then went to the E concourse BusinessElite because we were traveling onto a international flight. The BusinessElite lounge is the only lounge that has actual finger food, but can only be accessed if you are traveling onto a international sector on DL
. On my return through ATL
I went to the new lounge, C26 and it was nice, but didn't have any big chairs to relax in, which was a bummer. there are free drinks and pretzel mix to eat in the lounges.
I hope I was of some help and I also hope that you enjoy your trip, and that you have a better experience on DL
, maybe I just didn't get lucky. And please do write a trip report if you get a chance, pictures are ALWAYS appreciated!
