Delta Special Meals

Thu Jun 21, 2007 2:16 am

Hi!

After booking two TATL flights on DL for October and December I have decided that I would like to try their special meal selection. Now I am wondering what to expect. What do they serve for the Asian vegetarian choice, the seafood and how is their kosher meal?

Thanks!

You should try a search at the www.flyertalk.com delta forum... Special meals do tend to differ a lot by destination... and until now i've never taken the risk to end up with something totally awful, as sometimes they indeed are worth very little.

On the other hand, some menus are the same in both J and Y, so you get an extrodinary large meal in Y...

You may also want to try airlinemeals.net They do show some of the special meals.
Can I have a mojito on this flight?

Given that it is a US based airline don't expect the world.

Are you flying Business or Steerage? If business check out their webpage to see what some of the menus have been recently. They always have one entree that is vegetarian (though not vegan) up front.

You can only do so much with bagels, lox, brisket, and matzoh balls.  Wink
