Dominican Republic Advice

Sun Jul 01, 2007 4:46 am

I just found out that I am going to the Dominican Republic on Monday-Friday for work. I have never been there before, never been anywhere in that region. Anyone have any advice for me?

A couple of years ago I spent time exploring the colonial part of the city. It was inexpensive and very enjoyable. I liked the museums, especially the house of the son of Christopher Columbus that is now a museum. There was a section dedicated to the African Slave Trade that was very thought provoking.
