Help Looking For A Good Fare?

Tue Jul 10, 2007 6:10 am

I need to fly COS-BHM one way for mid August (anytime between 8/16-8/19), the best I am getting right now is AA for $190. I ussually fly this route with DL or CO for around $150-$170 but DL right now is showing something around $260 and CO for a lil over $200. Any idea if there is a better deal out there or if I should wai a few more days for a lower fare to become available. Last year I bought the same ticket for around the same date on 7/24 for $170 on DL....just wanted to hear what you guys thought. I checked and it looks like their lowest fare tickets are either sold out or haven't been released yet.

From COS-BHM, the cheapest I'm seeing is $182 on Ted/Delta Connection via MCO on August 17 (from However, if you're willing to go to Denver, you can get $157 on Southwest via BNA on August 16 or 17. However, if you exclude Southwest, the other Denver fares are actually more than the COS fare in this case.
