I am planning to buy a business class ticket from Bangkok to Vienna in the next couple of days. Research shows that Royal Jordanian offers the lowest fare. I have never flown with RJ before, nor visited Amman Airport, so I would like to try them out if they offer good value for money.
Their website says that Amman-Bangkok flights are operated by the A340, but the travel agent's booking system where I got fare quotes states that the flight in the end of August will be operated with an A310. The site also mentions that the A340 has new business class seats with an 83 inch seat pitch, but the A310 has 'only' 51 inch pitch. My question is: are these seats comfortable and do they meet expectations? What about RJ's business class service?
Qatar Airways would be the next choice, offering a fare that is 200 euros more than RJ. I like QR very much and it would be great to try out their dedicated business class terminal. Also, I can take an additional 10 kg on QR. So it really is balancing pros and cons of both options. Any help is appreciated!
