The examples of particular interest are, in chronological order: TW800, SR111, MS990, AF4590, and AA587; the aircraft involved are all pictured below, including an incredible shot capturing two of them in the same frame.

Have watched all of the television specials, everything from Anatomy of a Disaster to PBS and History Channel specials. Taped most of them.
Oddly enough, for some reason, I don't seem to take nearly the same interest in non-fatal accidents: e.g., AF's crash at YYZ, which had the fortunate result of removing another A340 from the face of the Earth, and the even more fortunate result of losing no lives in the process.
SQ006 also holds little interest to me-- I guess because I've always viewed it as the (deadly) result of sheer incompetence, rather than a facet of flight operation. It was a tragedy none-the-less, and may all those who were lost that night RIP.
