Y Seat Advice On KL A332

Thu Aug 30, 2007 8:14 am

Hey all,

I need some advice on which seat to chose on KL's 332. I will be flying to Entebbe from Atlanta and will thus fly on 4 of these birds.

Suggestions?

Btw, how is their Y product on North America and Africa?

Thanks,

I flew the KL A330 last year (PH-AOE). I was seated in 11G. I liked this seat, since you have no seat in front of you. Same for 11D. Your PTV is located in the armrest. Negative point is that you cannot put up the armrest between 11 F and 11G. Row 10 is the bulkhead row, which is nice as well, but keep in mind that 10E is the infant position (but luckily no inf onboard my flight).

The service on board is OK. The FAs are -in general- very friendly. A lot is said about KL catering, but so far I enjoyed the meals (I must say that anything is better, than when I cook myself  Big grin ). I really enjoyed the SMS and e-mail service that is offered. It's weird to receive a message on your PTV from somebody in The Netherlands, while I was flying over Greenland. IIRC the sms/e-mail service is free of charge currently (special promotion).

Row 17 or row 30 are the best - bulkhead rows.

Service is good, 4 out of 5 for me.
Food is 3 out of 5.
IFE is AVOD.
Plane is perfect.
