Carolinas-AMA: Help Me Find A Flight!

Sun Nov 18, 2007 10:56 pm

Hey guys,

I have to travel to Amarillo (AMA) next June and am looking for a way to get there for $250 or less r/t. I've tried all the LCCs, but the problem with AMA is that not many airlines fly there. It's mainly WN, CO, and AA.

Airports I can fly from (in order of preference):

AVL
GSP
TRI
CLT
GSO
TYS
CAE
RDU

I don't care about number of stops, no preference of airline(s); I just need to get there, and my budget is $250.

Please help me by posting the results of your search. Thank you!  Smile

All i'm getting is $400+ for the middle of june. If you have 10-15000 AA miles, you could do a cash and miles reward($250+10000mi).

Nah, I have 20,000 DL Skymiles, but no AA miles.

You could buy 5000 miles to get enough for an award ticket, which you could redeem for a CO flight.

WN- can't even get you there for some reason. Clicked RDU under departure city then tried to choose AMA for Arrival city, but it wasn't listed?

AA- Lowest I found with 6 nights stay from Jun 1- Jun 30 was $582.00

CO- $494.00 out of Raleigh.

Sigh...

Haha, yeah, I'm actually flying into AMA! Unfortunately, I'm not staying in Amarillo, just meeting up with some buds who happen to be driving through AMA.  Wink

I just got word that it's actually going to be July, so departure would be around July 1 and return would be around July 16. I'm probably getting ahead of myself here and should wait a few more months before trying to book this thing.  Smile

Thanks for the help!
