Both first and last were actually B720B flights. July 1963 on a Continental B720B on a PR/Familiarization flight from LAX. In June 1964, I took my first real B707 flight on American Airlines from LAX to JFK. Over the years, I flew on B707 on American, TWA, EL AL and Western Air LInes. As best I can recall, my final trip was on a Western B720B.

First: Pan Am 707-321B, SEA-LHR, April 1970. Counting the 720 as part of the 707 family, it was a UA 720 SEA-YVR in summer 1963.

My list isn't very long - the first was also the last flight...  Sad

5 November 1996, flying on Air Zimbabwe's B707-320 Z-WKU from VFA to HRE; I was amazed how quiet the aircraft was, sitting in row 2...  Smile

Short list for me, and neither on a 'propper' 707 - first and last flights were LON-MLA-LON with Air Malta on the 720 in the late 80's. I'm hoping my Godfather has some better pics of the aircraft - I think he was into that sort of thing too, but as I wasn't even one at the time and apparently screamed my way through both flights I have none of my own!

Once Iran give me a Visa I'll be off to Iran, just hope the SAHA birds are still flying then, I have my doubts though.

Well my friend, we can consider that has a "rare" 707!!! Excellent that you flew in the 720B of Air Malta!!!

My first one was a Pan Am in 1962 basically a trip to nowhere arranged by my grandfather for my brother's scout troop , it I remember right flew from SFO to SMF area and back, and I believe the last one was 1975 or 1976 AA from ORD to SFO.

I have one 707 flight as well. I suppose one is better than none.

Western Airlines, August 1975; SFO-SEA-ANC. I was nine years old and was with my mom and her sister-in-law.

Good Day  Smile

For me the only two times I flew in a 707 took place in during the airline strike in the summer of 1966. The first flight was a 707-123B flying JFK-BAL (Friendship Int'l)-LAX and a return flight on a World Airways 707-320C flying LAX-JFK. I was 10 years old at the time and these were my first fixed-wing airline flights. To get to/from JFK I took a New York Airways B-107 helicopter from EWR. If you count the B720, I flew once ORD-EWR in a 720-022 in 1970.

All of my 707 flights were on AA between BWI (then BAL) and DFW. I guess I took 6 or 7 of those flights. By that time (mid-1970's) 707's clearly were on the way out, so I knew that this particular pleasure wouldn't last much longer.
