In July I took AC YVR
-YUL. Both flights were 763 aircraft. The flight is about 5 hrs each way, similar to YYZ
. I was in Y, and the service was excellent on both flights. The BOB had been improved, and they did a full BOB and beverage service twice in each direction. The quality of the sandwiches was excellent, and the fact they did the service twice was impressive. Each way, I had eaten before I got onboard, so the first time round I wasn't hungry, but bought a sandwich on the second go-round. No IFE, but the crews were excellent and the good service more than made up for that.
While on the subject of the 777 YYZ
, that is the first leg of the YYZ
flight, so I am wondering what the service will be on the YYZ
leg. Technically, I suppose it's an Interntional flight, so they might do a complimentary meal service and drinks depending on the time of day. While AC
used to, and still does till Dec, operate YVR
with 763, they used to do a full complimentary meal and beverage service on the YVR
leg. When the YVR
flights are the 762 which do not operate to SYD
internationally I believe it is just BOB and no comp alcohol. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. If the 777 YYZ
is full comp service, that will be very nice indeed.
