Hey all, I'm taking a trip, leaving on the 16th. Going to New Zealand! I'm quite excited.
However being one who doesn't travel very much, by air anyway, just wondering what most do when flying on these really long flights. We're going from Winnipeg to Vancouver then to Auckland then to Christchurch. I know YWG to YVR isn't very long, but YVR to AKL is a long ride. What do you do to maintain sanity?
Also what are the Air New Zealand 777-200ER's like? Are they comfortable? I'm 6'4, I'm sure I'll be feeling quite cramped by the time we get there, do people get mad if you get up and roam around every couple of hours? Being a farmer I'm used to sitting in a machine for long hours at a stretch but typically I can move around whenever I want.
That's all I've got for now, apologies if these questions have been answered by others before...
