We have not booked yet, but we will head for HAJ in late June/early July. Then either in August or October we will head for LAX. So loooong time before I will be able to fly again.

So far?

05JAN - FRA-PMI on DE
11JAN - PMI-FRA on DE
16JAN - FRA-VIE-FRA on OS
26JAN - FRA-ZRH on LX
27JAN - ZRH-FRA on LX
30JAN - FRA-ZRH on LX
31JAN - ZRH-FRA on LX
16FEB - FRA-VIE on OS
17FEB - VIE-FRA on OS
28MAR - FRA-VIE on OS
30MAR - VIE-FRA on OS

Of those, only the first and last two are not duty travel... in February and March, I'll also be in ZRH at least twice per month, and I should be in VIE at least once more in March. Next year is going to be a year of not much free time for me...

June-August:
PDX-Yemen/Morocco/Jordan-PDX (? - Hoping to gain acceptance into a summer program working with an NGO and taking Arabic classes in one of these countries)

August:
PDX-Spain/Eastern Europe (Spending fall semester in Madrid. Hopefully heading to Prague, Budapest, and Vienna first)

September:

September-December (traveling around Europe on the weekends):

It's going to be a crazy year of travel for me. Hopefully everything will pan out.

Have got a number of trips in the pipeline, including my first visit to Russia in March, but the only flights I have booked so far are:

Jan 7: BA0073 LHR-AUH, B777.
Jan 14: BA0072 AUH-LHR, B777.

These flights are actually for a visit to Dubai rather than Abu Dhabi, but BA had a sale on AUH flights, and as it's only an hour's drive from my cousin's Dubai home I'm not complaining!
Ladies & gentlemen this is Captain Tobias Wilcock welcoming you aboard Coconut Airways flight 372 to Bridgetown Barb

Mileage run, it was cheaper to go to PRG then it was to LGA/JFK/EWR or Florida for that matter, and when we looked at hotels, they were too expensive, and we don't have the time to stay really.

none yet  cry

were going on a trip to NZ in January (total 6 flights - 2 763's, 2 733's and 2 props - all NZ ), but that trip was cancelled. Then we decided to go on a trip to Gold Coast instead, but that was also cancelled (don't know what flights that would be on). Then I almost got on a trip to Borneo instead (with a mate), but the tour that they (mate + family) were on was full, so then that trip was cancelled. Finally we decided that we'll go to Melbourne for a week, but again that was cancelled due to my sister having to go somewhere last minute.  cry

Had four different trips at the same time ready, almost got to book them, and we had to cancel them all, life sux.  cry

Well I still have a few more to come for this year, but as far as next year goes it's looking like this;

2008

Sometime in January = BRS-PLH then possibly PLH-BRS too
22nd Feb = BHX-MAD ... BMI Baby 737
23rd Feb = MAD-FRA ... LAN Chile A343
24th Feb = FRA-TXL ... Lufthansa
26th Feb = THF-BRU ... RJ100/EQTV
26th Feb = BRU-BHX ... RJ85
Sometime in March = BHX-FRA ... FlyBe
Sometime in March = FRA-MAD ... LAN Chile A343
Sometime in March = MAD-??? - will either be back to BHX or to MAH, depending where the family is for Easter
Hopefully sometime in 2008 = LHR-THR-LHR ... when Iran decides to give me a Visa *sigh*

I'm also planning to take all of the new Air Southwest flights from PLH, so will after they start in April take such routings as PLH-NQY-DUB-BHX, PLH-NQY-GLA-BHX and the like, just so that I can avoid hours sat on a train/coach between home and university.

Well what are your booked flights for 2008?

HAJ-AMS-IAH-AMS-HAJ : outbound on 01-APR return on 12-APR once again trying to fly on KL's (PrivatAir's) BBJ.
Add to this some intra-Texan flights on WN and CO touching CRP, HOU, AUS, SAT, IAH, MFE (McAllen, TX) and HRL (Harlingen, TX).

Considering:
Attendance of the Winter FRA Meeting Winter 08 FRA Meet (by DYflyer Oct 21 2007 in Non Aviation) possibly joining the others onboard of LA MAD - FRA ...

Well I am 75% positive I will be visiting relatives in Lund somewhere between May and July. Nothing has been set in stone quite yet, but if there's any trip I get to be in anything with wings, that will be it.

My options are as follows:

DTW-IAD-CPH and return = UA/SK

DTW-IAD-CPH-FRA-DTW = UA/SK/LH

DTW-AMS-CPH and return.

SK would be a new carrier for me, but if I go in late June/early July I will have the opportunity for my first 747 ride, albeit a little more expensive.  optimist

I need some method other than a coin flip or a game of "rock-paper-scissors" to choose.
The air in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious because it's the same the angels breathe.

I'm also planning to take all of the new Air Southwest flights from PLH, so will after they start in April take such routings as PLH-NQY-DUB-BHX, PLH-NQY-GLA-BHX and the like, just so that I can avoid hours sat on a train/coach between home and university.

Well, I've spent some spare time today firming up my plans, so my flights are now as follows;

22.02.2008 ... BHX-MAD ... BMI Baby ... B737-300
23.02.2008 ... MAD-FRA ... LAN Chile ... A340-300
24.02.2008 ... FRA-TXL ... Lufthansa ... ?
26.02.2008 ... THF-BRU ... Brussels Airlines ... BAe146/RJ
26.02.2008 ... BRU-BHX ... Brussels Airlines ... BAe146/RJ
01.04.2008 ... BHX-FRA ... FlyBe ... EMB145
01.04.2008 ... FRA-MAD ... LAN Chile ... A340-300
02.04.2008 ... MAD-LCY ... BA Cityflyer ... RJ85/100
26.04.2008 ... BHX-ORK ... Aer Lingus ... A320-200
28.04.2008 ... ORK-NQY-PLH ... Air Southwest ... DHC8-300 *Inaugural return flight*
29.04.2008 ... PLH-NQY-DUB ... Air Southwest ... DHC8-300
29.04.2008 ... DUB-CWL ... Aer Arann ... ATR42/72

Nothing booked yet, but I'll be flying back down to MCI this summer, probably June 18-July 2. Still a price war right now, but I'm rooting for CO since they got a mainline 737 itinerary cheap, and I love my turboprops Big grin

I wish...  ... duty travel = no miles, no status...

Poor soul !

Oh well... I guess it's ok, because at least I - for some strange reason - still love flying, despite the fact that I'd be travelling faster and more comfortably by train (at least on the ZRH-flights)...

- Barcelona with AF on January 18.

And many flights on the "Puente Aereo" to Madrid.

None yet, although my parents want to tour colleges were my sister might go next year, so that might mean flights from DAL and or DFW to:
LBB
SAT
HOU
IAH
AUS
CRP
BOS
LGA
JFK
BDL

and I only 15 so they would have to me right. I imagine with my dad's AAdvantage account we will probably fly AA most of them. My parents like the Net SAAver Fares because they are so cheap and my parents are very spontanious.
