OS will be second operator worldwide of wingletted 767. No idea who the first is.
SU operates world's longest 767 sector SVO-LAX.

An apparently well known fact to the travelling public and relatively unknown to the airline staff is that the airlines actually control the weather. There is a hangar that it used solely for that purpose at each airline's hub.

Sorry, that's not correct. LY operates the 767-200ER nonstsop TLV-MIA which is about 500 nm further than SVO-LAX.

HI,

LH does not own the tyres of their own aircraft, they are all leased but don´t ask me from which company.

PS: I don´t know if other airlines handle it the same way.
And LH only own aircraft, LH does not lease.

If I could have a dollar for every idiot that just couldn't believe we were delaying for WX, I'd be rich. "I just called my wife and it's not raining at our house", "Clear blue skies outside" (as you hear lightning striking in the background).

Easter Airlines was the first US airline to order and use the Airbus A300.
That Pan Am was the first airline to use the B747SP.
Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.

AC (when still TCA) was the first airline in North America to operate turbine-powered aircraft when they put their first Vickers Viscount into service on April 1, 1955.
