LH Mainline J Class And Privatair J Class

Fri Feb 01, 2008 5:09 pm

Can anyone comment from firsthand experience what is better product LH Mainline Bus. Class or the all Biz flights on LH operated by Privatair.

Also are the Privatair 737 and 319...identical interiors, or is one superior to the other.

Thanks!

I flew both, LH mainline and Privatair. The mainline is nice, you can find pictures of the nice new C class cabin here at a.net. Service is good, video on demand, nice comfortable seat.

Privatair - as the same says - is more privat. only 48 passengers and 4 F/As. Seats are smaller, no lie flat bed. No inseat video, just a portable DVD player you get but a nice variety of DVDs you can watch there...

The 319 is a little louder than the "real" long haul aircrafts... I really enjoyed the Privatair 319, but I would still prefer the mainline due to the better seat and IFE...

No Problem! and what will be your decision? I mean Privatair is a nice experience! Doesnt happen too often to fly 737 or 319 over the pond  Wink And the F/As on my flight were really nice and beautiful Big grin

I will fly on PrivatAir's BBJ across the pond and back in April - however it will be operated for KL to IAH.

Will see how it works to fly that far and long in such a small tube of cabin, but IAH was the only destination I could get award flights to. Would have loved to fly in a A332 to DFW but no availability for the time span I am bound to.
