I belive you can still collect miles. But if you go on a 'tiny' fare you won't get many. Here is a summary below taken from bmibaby.com. The service onboard is friendly, and relaxed - the cabin crew are great (well, at least the MME based ones were - that's the only place I've flown WW to/from). It is just an LCC in terms of service, but you do get assigned seating meaning you don't have to rugby tackle people to get onboard. There is a buy on board menu which is ok value, especially considering the low fares.

The planes are slightly more classic than FR or U2, mainly 733 and 735, but the seats are comfy - and you get more legroom than the big two LCCs.

You can earn destinations miles based on the cost of your bmibaby flight and spend your miles on any bmibaby or star alliance member airline worldwide.

flight price (inc taxes & charges) destinations miles earned
£0.01 - £39.99 150 points
£40 - £69.99 300
£70 - £99.99 600
£100+ 900

This is for the Diamond Club - but not sure if you have say a Star Alliance card. I imagine it is the same. More info at http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/src/html/d...ubhowtoearnmiles.html?&LinkID=181.

Hope this helps!  Smile
