Flying To Lisbon. A Question...

Mon Mar 03, 2008 7:35 pm

On Thursday (March 6), I am flying to LIS from IST (on a TK 738). Which side of the plane should I sit for the best views? Are landings usually done on the same runway or does it depend?

P.S: Feel free to give me a few hints about the city too  Smile

Hi, can't talk about which side to choose on the plane, but once you are in the city don't forget a ride on the Tram 28, you won't regret it  Smile

Feel free to PM me if you want some pics or other little info, enjoy your trip !

RE: Flying To Lisbon. A Question...

Hello,
I flew into LIS a few weeks ago.
Sit on the left(Captain's) side of the plane.
That is where I was sitting and we came in over the Tagus River and I could clearly see the Torre de Belem, Discoveries Monument and the 25 de Abril Bridge.
I was also able to see the aqueduct and the downtown Lisbon skyline.
Have a great flight!
