I'd rather transit at CDG than JFK any day of the week.
Valid point. How likely is it to get caught in one of these looong departure queues at JFK
? While I am not a close friend of connecting at CDG T2
, it can be done - and if you allow ample time (90 minutes to my experience) it even falls into category "okay" for me.AF
0587 0145-0545h arrives T2E
0135 1120-1430h departs T2A
You are sure that you want ot cross the Atlantic ocean in that B752 ?
You are sure that you want to depart in the middle of the night ?
This will be a 6-hour layover at CDG T2
with not too many options to get distracted. Too short to go downtown, long enough to get bored.
0023 1225-1800h arrives T4
5603 1930-2140h departs T3
Is this a viable connection ? 90 minutes to make the connection and no backup plan (= later flight) if you miss the connection ...
Remember: No big carry-ons on that CRJ-flight possible.
Speaking of timings, personally I would prefer the DL
-flight as it leaves around noon rather than in the middle of the night.
(I handn't had a look into the timings of your outbound flights).
Carpe diem ! Life is too short to waste your time ! Keep in mind, that today is the first day of the rest of your life !
