Help With Flights To LAX.

Sat Apr 19, 2008 10:06 am

So finally it is confirmed that I and my dad will head for LAX in the middle of August. I need advice on which carrier I shall fly on to LAX from ARN. The dates are from V 34 ( 18-24 august) and the return will be on 22nd Dec. We will be flying in Y  Sad.

Any advice is appreciated.

Do you want to take an American carrier or a European carrier?

I prefer to take a European. But if the price is right, it is ok with American also.

Well, since according to your FlightMemory you've been on LH and BA to LAX already, you might consider taking KL or AF just to get a "new route"  bigthumbsup

Besides, you could probably still get on a 744 with them  Wink

That is true, but they are usually a lot more expensive, from what I can see.

If i was you i would take LX. They have nice pitch of 34", a 9" PTV with AVOD, nice food and great fares. NZ is also a good option.

This question might be a little awkward, are you making a TR for your trip to LA?

I bet he will and he will comment on his own TR with: THANKS FOR SHARING  duck   rotfl

No, seriously... If you were happy with BA or LH, why changing it? Sure, trying something new would be nice as well! But ARN-FRA-LAX or ARN-LHR-LAX both not bad! but think about LHR and the luggage situation at the moment  Yeah sure

Yepp, that is why I will try to avoid BA this time. I have otherwise enjoyed all my flights with them.

How important is price?

BA is by far the best deal currently coming up £170 pp cheaper than other airlines

If you want to add a new routing then KLM is the next best option...
I don't like signatures...

Pretty important. I mean if it is around €150 expensive on a other carrier it is ok, but not more.
