Do Qantas' International B767s Have The Skybed?

Mon May 12, 2008 3:16 pm

Do Qantas Airways have the new(ish) Skybed for their Business Class installed on their B767s?

If so, do all of them have it?

I am travelling from Tokyo - Perth this Christmas and its with a B767. Quite a long flight for a 767....10.5 hours!

The route is only served 3 x weekly. What are the loads normally like? Service good in both Business and Economy?

Skybeds are not installed on QF 767 aircraft. On international configured 767s in Business class, you will have the Dreamtime seat, which is the same as the 743. In business, you will have your own loop based PTV. If you are in economy, you will have the mainscreen entertainment.

They have 6 layouts for the 767 according to their website, and 2 of them have 5 rows of 5 abreast non-skybed but cradle seat. I've only flown the QF 767 domestically, and on both flights I was on the 6 abreast non-skybed version with domestic J seats.
Of all the things to worry about... the Wookie has no pants.

For more information and as a general reference for the Qantas fleet, this site should be bookmarked and remembered.
