BA Under 16 In Exit Row?

Tue Jul 22, 2008 6:33 pm

Is it allowed for someone under 16 years of age (the minimum age to sit in the exit row) to sit in the exit row with 2 adults that are both above 16 years of age on British Airways?

I'm pretty sure that NO-ONE can be seated on an emergency exit row if they're under 16 on British Airways.

Also, BA seems to claim that both rows 28 and 29 are exit rows in some versions of their B747-400s. Is this accurate? (By this they are suggesting that nobody under the age of 16 can sit in these rows)

Looking at Seat Guru, it's only showing row 28 as an exit row on both variants.. 29 seems like a normal row. Don't go by me or that website though on all counts, I'm sure there is someone here that can confirm what you're saying realistically.
