Lufthansa First Class - B747 - 400

Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:24 pm

I am flying on Lufthansa B744 on 15sep from BOM-FRA. May I know what I need to know to take the full benefit of the First Class onboard. I mean all the services and facilities they provide that I should not miss as of today.

Thanks

You Need to use the F Class Terminal at Frankfurt, Use the F class Lounge at FRA and also eat as much as you can on the plane. But this should be in Travel Polls and Prefs not Trip Reports!

I am a great fan of the Frankfurt FCT lounge. Make sure you plan some time to spend there, enjoy the wonderful facilities (you can use the FCT as an arrivals lounge as long as you are connecting on another LH flight and you hold a F boarding pass from your connecting flight) and your limo ride to the aircraft for your next flight.

I can assure you this is an experience you will really enjoy. As to the onboard service, amenity kits, PJs and food, I much prefer SQ and the Singapore Girls and boys rather than the LH matrons still LH is not bad at all. Just worth it for the FCT alone!
There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

Quoting B773A346 (Thread starter):

Oh yeah, go to the First Class Terminal for sure! I've been in there only once before it got opened and it looks great. I only heard great things about it.
And you will be taken by car to your flight. Either Mercedes Benz S-Class or Porsche Chayenne.
On the plane, well the First Class on the 744 is on the upper deck, 16 lie flat seats. Not the newest ones and not the best first class out there, but I am pretty sure you'll enjoy your flight.
