I found some rather cheap options, considering that it is a holiday destination and it is a peak time.

http://uk.bestfares.amadeus.net/s/fl...O67q$sKBrSecALD4G8Q&completed=true

Amadeus.net offered Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick to Orlando direct for 369 pounds, on the VS site it is more lik 650 oneway.

Both amadeus.net and expedia.co.uk offer Aer Lingus for around 430 pounds one way. BA is also very expensive.

Cheers

With that number of pax, you'd better contact the potential airlines directly. But as June is pretty much "season" fares could be quite high.
What about FI via KEF ? Do they still serve SFB ?

With 45 pax, you will not be able to play the trick to purchase roundtrips and than make it a no-show for the return leg. Could get you into trouble, unless specifically approved by the airline. Might be worth the check.

When using 2 different airlines, make sure it is on one PNR. You do not want to risk that say 2 pax will be bumped from the second (independently booked) flight !

Other question: How do you get those pax 45 home ? Crossing the pond on a (cruise) ship back to U.K. ?

Ah in that case you could yes contact an airline directly, or if you are doing it in a company for instance, use something like American Express Travel Agency which basically does a whole lot of corporate trouble. For example, living in Europe our family gets an anual trip home in business class. being the aviation fan that I am I wanted to go on the A380, obviosuly SQ. However at first they were too expensive and QF was to be the choice, which I love too, however they managed to do a route deal. It significantly decreased the price of the ticket, however I never found out how it worked.

Maybe this will help.
