JAL And SIN Questions

Wed Oct 08, 2008 5:24 pm

have a question for y'all....
a co worker of mine is flying from Singapore to NY on JAL in J class. His SIN-NRT flight leaves at 820am. however, on a seperate ticket, he will be arriving at SIN from HKG at midnight.
my questions are:
1) can he hang around the airport for 8 hours?
2) is there a lounge in SIN that he can access with his JAL J boarding pass that has showers?

thank you all in advance.

JAL is a member of the oneword alliance so they should be able to access the The Skyview Lounge (24h) or the SATS Premier Lounge (24h). There is a pay lounge avaiable at SIN and there is also a transit hotel in the terminal.

Not sure if the SATS lounge has showers, though. I know the SKL does for sure. Isn't there a BA lounge or so? Sorry, I don't fly OW.

If he gets bored in the lounge he can always go and watch a free movie (oldie) at the movie theatre. SIN is a great airport to spend a few hours in.

Or, he can go to the transit hotel and get a few hours of sleep.
