Question About Flying Through ATL...

Sun Oct 12, 2008 6:08 am

Hello fellow anutters.

I fly CA-NY frequently, and ever since B6 quit at ONT (Ugh. WHY?!?!) I've been taking them from BUR and LGB. Now, to mix things up, I've picked Delta, DL1454, ONT-ATL-JFK. I have a two hour layover in ATL (roughly), and I was just curious as to whether ATL has a smoking lounge of sorts in the terminal area I'm most likely to fly into? A bar works fine. Its the only flight I've taken with an ATL since I started smoking, and I figure I might as well have a quick one. (By the way, I still don't know what gate this flight is arriving at - much less the concourse.)

I realize this is a strange question to ask, but, any help is appreciated.

Yes they do. I believe they are in all concourses, but I have noticed them when I am there: you won't have any difficulty finding a place to smoke, especially with that much time. Of course for your own good I'd advise you to stop!  Smile

The only concourse that really doesn't have a smoking room is D. The smoking area for that concourse is in a bar.

Here's a link to the concourse maps @ ATL.

Based on where the current ONT-ATL flights have been going into, more than likely B. Of course, that could change, as I've seen a flight I've taken jump to a different concourse every few days in the weeks prior to my flight. It's not possible to track the activities of your flight because that isn't an active flight number at this time.

Tell me about it. Too late for that now!

Thank you very much buddy, I appreciate it.

I usually fly nonstop (as much as I can) and avoid this, but it just so happens my plans came out this way. Oh well!

I appreciate the help.
