LHR T5 - Going Lanside In Transit

Mon Jan 19, 2009 3:35 pm

All - looking for some information.

I have a long haul flight connecting in LHRT5 (all legs with BA obviously) with a connection of 6hours + both ways.

During the connection I wanted to go lanside to meet up with family for a coffee etc etc.. The question is - can I do this? Do it make a difference if I have checked luggage vs carrying on?

Note that I am British with British Passport ofcourse so there are no immigration issues.

Many thanks

If you have boarding passes for both legs, and your British passport, it should be no problem at all.
