1st Class Pax - Can They Invite Others For Dinner?

Wed Jan 21, 2009 8:22 pm

Sorry if the topic title is not best worded title in the world, but unsure what to call it...

As you can probably tell I am not a seasoned 1st Class flyer, and I am always sat at the back on long haul flights!

I have noticed many of the first class cabins have an "Ottoman" style seat in each of the 1st Class suites, and when you look on the websites it goes on about how you can have dinner with someone else at the same table...

Does the mean you could potentially invite a passenger from economy on the same flight and invite them up to the 1st Class Cabin for dinner?

Those ottomans are for inviting traveling partners for dinner, or a meeting, or a game of cards, whatever. But you must be in the same class to be invited.

They offered this option because the new "suite" products didn't really accommodate couples/business people traveling together. They were to isolated.

Clearly a system designed by player haters.

Any player worth his bling would pay for the upgrade on board…  Wink

So, using the ottoman logic and applying it to A380 suites, I guess you can't invite a special somebody you met on the in the boarding area or on the flight "back to your suite" if they are not paying the same freight as you are. Clearly a system designed by player haters.

A true player would have already been scoping out check-in, the lounge and the boarding area and already handled getting them "up front" before departure.  couple

Not if their game is tight. Any player worth their bling could get the upgrade for free....

Free is a matter of opinion. I can rephrase it to "take care" of the upgrade on board…  Smile
