ORD Experts... I Need Your Help

Fri Feb 06, 2009 4:42 pm

In a few weeks time, I am flying to LAX through FRA and ORD. As a smoker, I usually need one in between flights. As far as I know, there are smoking booths in FRA but I am pretty sure ORD is a completely non-smoking airport. So I will need to step outside for that cigarette. I am arriving and leaving from different terminals and I have never been to ORD before. I would appreciate if you could help me out. My itinerary is as follows:

FRA-ORD LH 430 arriving at 13:10 in Terminal 5
ORD-LAX LH 9400 (UA flight) leaving at 14:55 from Terminal 1

Can you advise on how to connect and and where to smoke?

Thanks in advance

Collect your bags, pass immigration and then just head straight outside to smoke. Its literally like 20m across the arrivals area because the terminal is very narrow. Come back in with your bags through same door you just went outside and go to the mid-level to catch the ATS Train (Airport Transit System) to Terminals 1,2,3...1 being yours. Thats it

Its honestly hard to get lost.
