First class seats are of the "old-fashioned" variety without footrests
Yes, sadly UA
was once the true legacy/premier carrier to Hawaii - 60's - 70's into the 80's Now UA
domestic wide bodies 767-777 that serve the islands have the most seats and less pitch in FC with a 38" pitch -standard domestic FC seats. AA
all have upgraded their domestic widebodies a couple years ago - with 59-60" pitch with lie-flat or recliner seats in FC/Biz cabin configuration.
Food, drink? I know there was a trip report on UA
FC service to Hawaii about a year ago. . . remember the pics of the food looked good. Not sure about the service in total. It is a long flight so like AA
/NW and CO
- imagine you get pre-board champange, hot towels, menus, cocktails, appetizer, salad service, entree service, dessert cart, pre-arrival snack - fruit, cheese, etc. Would assume UA
would do similar.
