What Are My Chances Getting On US3791/1582? 6/13

Thu Jun 11, 2009 6:02 pm

I'm traveling to BOS on Sat. and on my return trip, I want to go to PIT and CLT back home to PHF. I'm looking on Seaetcounter, but I don't understand it. I'm traveling with my dad and so when we check in in PHF, we will request these flights and pay the $50. the CLT-PHF flights are the same, which I'm already confirmed on.

Any tips?
Thanks

What is your exact fare code?

That being said, many of the fare codes between BOS and PHF on US Airways allow for up to 3 connections each way, with PHL, PIT, CLT, WAS (in the case of US, you're talking DCA) and NYC (in the case of US, you're talking LGA) as the legal connection cities.

That being said, ExpertFlyer is showing the BOS-PIT flight at Y9B6 etc. and the PIT-CLT flight is very open (9s in every fare bucket out there).

You can try doing it at PHF but you might have to wait until BOS to do it (for some idiotic reason, US Airways makes you do the same-day travel changes when you're physically at the airport, rather than through calling reservations, which is what every other airline lets you do).

Obviously, it's dependent on your fare and standby priority, but for a general picture, here are the loads at the time of this posting:

US3791 BOS-PIT 43/50Y
US1582 PIT-CLT 90/138Y 3/12F

Looks like you should be ok in my opinion.

We'll go with how much did you pay for your fare then (round-trip). I might still be able to look up the approximate fare code for that amount.
