World Traveller Class On BA 744s

Sat Jun 20, 2009 8:24 pm

I just booked a trip in October from SFO-LHR on BA. It will be my first time flying BA and I was just wondering how the service might compare with my previous experiences flying from the US to Europe in Y Class on LH , UA , and NW.

The most important thing to remember is the free drinks!!!
The cabin service will be polished and you will arrive at LHR refreshed, Dont get the heathrow express it is a ripoff. email and I will be happy to give advice on transport in UK

Thanks for the info. Actually we won't be staying in the UK, but continuing on another BA flight to CDG. I guess that will give us a little bit of time to check out the new Terminal 5.

BA will be better than any of the airlines you have mentioned.

LH will offer free drinks but not PTVs. UA will give you PTVs but no free drink. NW/DL may give you the PTVs depending on the aircraft/routing and are now offering at least one free drink but all in all BA are by far the best option on the route you mentioned. Very professional, very polite and very "British!"

Enjoy!
