RE: Your Itinerary Plans For 2009 Part 3.

Fri Aug 28, 2009 10:03 am

Well firstly I have a slight disappointment, having had to cancel my planned and partly booked trip to Georgia:

16.09.2009 ... UK-DTM ... Coach/Plane (unbooked)
17.09.2009 ... DTM-KBP ... WizzAir Ukraine ... A320-200
18.09.2009 ... KBP-TBS ... SkyGeorgia ... DC-9-51
19.09.2009 ... TBS-EVN ... Armavia ... A319/Tu134 (unbooked)
20.09.2009 ... EVN-TBS ... Armavia ... A319/Tu134 (unbooked)
23.09.2009 ... BUS-KBP ... EuroLine ... Tu134A
23.09.2009 ... KBP-RZW ... Train & Bus (unbooked)
24.09.2009 ... RZW-BRS ... Ryanair ... B737-8AS

Which has now been replaced by this ultra interesting itinarary:

01.09.2009 ... BRS-MAH ... Easyjet ... A319
10.09.2009 ... MAH-BRS ... Easyjet ... A319
??.09.2009 ... ???-MAH ... ?
??.10.2009 ... MAH-??? ... ?

Basically a house sale has thrown a spanner in the works and means I have to take a couple of trips to Spain. I could probably still take the trip to Georgia, but it would mean being away from the UK for all of September, which I can't do right now.

On the plus side though, I'm planning to re-take the Georgia trip in the winter or early next year, by which time AeroSvit might have more idea of where the An-148 flies in the Ukraine, and Armavia should have their first SSJ-100, and TBS is a very likely candidate to get it!

Yeah indeed. My family put a house on the market not expecting it to sell for years basically, and in two days they had a sale. I therefore have to help clear out on the first trip, then help them complete in late September the second time. With any luck I'll be able to make the replanned Georgia trip even better  yes

Let me guess: Entrance is free, but you'll have to pay a €10 'building access service charge' and a €5 payment processing fee, unless you pay with an Electron card issued by the Bank of Lesotho. All seating will be unallocated and won't recline but, for an additional €15, you can buy 'Conference Access Plus' which entitles you to a cold coffee and entrance first.  Wink

Actually, entrance is free.... for airlines. Otherwise it's about €3000.... talking about low cost! (It might be obvious I'm not paying  Wink)

Just back from another unplanned mileage run to Tel Aviv. This time stayed overnight and had a nice day on the beach. Also got 11K status miles for my Gold Card renewal.

I had zilch this year to date. Here is how I rectified the problem:

10/14/09 NW4161 PWM-DTW to NW40 DTW-AMS
10/19/09 NW39 AMS-DTW to NW4114 DTW-PWM

My first A330, first overseas international trip*, and most likely last Northwest Airlines trip before SOC.

*Yes, I do have a passport.
