Transfer Between Amer Eagle And DL At LAX

Mon Aug 24, 2009 2:09 pm

Hi all,

I will be flying from SJC to LAX on American Eagle and then Delta from LAX to ATL next week. What is the procedure to transfer between the two? Is there a bus which runs airside between Terminal 4 and 5? Or do I need to walk out of T4, go outside, then into T5?

Thanks

American Eagle has its own remote terminal west of the international terminal. They have a bus from this terminal to T4 and T5. Last time I did this to connect to a DL flight it was about a 35 minute wait for the bus.

I had the time though so none of that was a problem. My problem was checking in – I couldn’t do it until I got to the airport. Delta.com wouldn’t let me check in and in return Eagle didn’t keep the seat I picked out. If this has changed, please let me know!

So you couldn't check in for the American Eagle flight? Did delta.com let you check in for the DL flight?
